Great atmosphere and service but mediocre experience overall. Beware of additional charges! I came here in a party of 8. My first impression was that the food was slightly overpriced for what you're getting. My pizza was ok but I wouldn't get it again. Based on my order and my friends' orders, I would not come here for the food. The peach cocktail I tried gave me the same impression - ok and not worth the price. However, the in-house wheat beer I had was very good! The service was prompt and the atmosphere was lively but not too loud. Our waitress was very friendly and we enjoyed chatting with her! I'm not sure if someone in our group was told but when we received our checks (split 5 ways) there was both an automatic 20% gratuity and an additional $5 charge per check for splitting the check. So if this is not what you expect, make sure you ask about it in advance!

I went a few times early July while I was in town for a conference. Food and service were good! Staff were friendly and kind. I think I saw the owner making rounds and he was kind as well. But I need to talk about the comedy show… it was the first one for Happy Valley brewery. The comedy show was delayed because there were families with young kids still eating. As a father I appreciate that. But they delayed it for 15-20 mins and started to do the show anyway. The comedian had enough sense to not tell his inappropriate jokes while the young children were there, but he just kept bringing up that they were there and he needed them to leave…..It was uncomfortable for everyone and most importantly uncomfortable for the family with the children…. It was an awful awkward experience… I think the professional and classy option would be to move the family upstairs. The show ended up being okay, the same comedian who chased the family out spent a chuck of his time roasting the venue as well as roasting the guest for not liking his lame jokes. Good riddance dude. I will happily return for the food and live shows.

Great margaritas by the owner at the upstairs bar Saturday. Preferred the upstairs during the day to let the light, basement is darker vibe but cool too. Blonde ale & Nachos were pretty good however some chips tasted burnt.

Something has changed; it was once great food and great service, and now just mediocre and overpriced. Ordered their rodeo burger and "upgraded" side to fries. $18.50, plus $3.00 up charge for the fries. $21.50. Expecting a quality burger, it looks like it was made from a frozen, pre-made hamburger, with cheese and two small onion rings stacked on top of each other. I also ordered their house sour beer to avoid a high-gravity beer. I was surprised as they served it in a small goblet instead of a pint. My party ordered side salads, which ended up served with the main courses. Just a general disappointment. I gave it two stars because of the ambiance. I think the picture should speak for itself.

We had a lovely Valentines dinner with very fast service and delicious food. We started with the French onion soup, which the flavor was seriously on point. However, it was incredibly salty with only one singular slice of cheese on top. It definitely needed more cheese and less salt, but it was still delicious. Next, we got the bacon broccoli cheddar cheese bites. These are awesome and you seriously can not go wrong with those. For entrees, I got the fish and chips and my boyfriend got the smash burger. The fish and chips were hot, crispy and so delicious. Same with the remoulade. As for the burger, it wasn’t as smashed as we were hoping, but it was still very good. I can’t wait to go back to try more on the menu!
